These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Versions of Me ("the App", "we", "us").

Article 1 - Scope

These Terms apply to all users of Versions of Me, available on iOS. By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 2 - User Obligations

Users shall:

  • Use the App in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Be responsible for all activity on their device
  • Not share or transfer their anonymous account to others

Article 3 - Prohibited Conduct

Users shall not:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content that infringes on the rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal images as vision content
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the App or its content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App

Article 4 - Provision of the Service

  • We strive to provide the App continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App with reasonable notice
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
  • We are not liable for any damages arising from service interruptions

Article 5 - Subscription and Payments

  • The App offers both free and paid (Pro) subscription plans
  • Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and processed via RevenueCat
  • Payment terms, renewal, and cancellation are subject to Apple's terms and conditions
  • Refund requests should be directed to Apple

Article 6 - Intellectual Property

  • The App, including its design, code, AI-generated content, and preset vision images, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws
  • Users retain ownership of content they create (habits, journal entries, uploaded images)
  • By uploading content, users grant us a limited license to process and display it within the App
  • AI-generated letters and messages are provided for personal use within the App

Article 7 - Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

  • The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee that the App will meet your specific requirements
  • AI-generated content (letters, messages) is for motivational purposes and does not constitute professional advice
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed JPY 1,000 or the total fees paid by the user in the preceding 12 months, whichever is greater

Article 8 - Account Suspension and Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Users may delete their account at any time through the App
  • Upon termination, access to the App and associated data will be revoked

Article 9 - Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Article 10 - Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the jurisdiction of the developer's registered address.

Article 11 - Apple Standard EULA

Use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement:
